Not to be confused with Racetrack, an actual racetrack in the game.

A racetrack is the playable racetrack where a race takes places. Depending on the given race type, a racetrack will usually consist of up to six vehicles in a given class competing against each other. The racetracks have been categorised into five different categories which are Pacific Drive, Arctic Breeze, Colonial Run, Asuka Battle and Raceways. Each category has six racetracks, except for Raceways which only has two. The player will be given a default racetrack in Colonial Run whereas the rest of the racetracks are unlocked either through Ford Competition mode or Ford Challenge mode. However, this does not apply to the arcade version.

In the PC, PS2 and Xbox versions, the game consists of twenty-six racetracks if reversed versions are included (fourteen if they are excluded). In the DS and GBA versions, the game consists of twenty-four racetracks with five categories instead of six as Raceways is not included. Lastly, in the arcade version, the racetracks that appear in each category will vary according to different cabinets.
