The 2004 Ford Mustang GT-R Concept is an unlockable vehicle in the Performance class, which can be unlocked in Ford Challenge mode. The car is a 2-door coupe that is a modified version of the regular fifth generation Ford Mustang, built as a concept car that was meant to commemorate Ford's 40th anniversary of the Ford Mustang production.
In the game, the car has a decent top speed, acceleration and handling. Overall, the car is well-balanced in its class but can be somewhat lacklustre due to its average performance. It performs similarly to the 2003 Ford FR100 Concept, however it may feel slightly lighter. It also performs similarly to the 2005 Ford Mustang GT to a certain extent.
