The 2001 Ford EX Concept is an unlockable vehicle in the Off-Road class, which can be unlocked in Ford Competition mode in the PC, PS2 and Xbox versions. In the DS version, it can be unlocked in Ford Challenge mode instead. The car is an off-roader without any doors, built as a concept car similar to a buggy.
In the game, the car is one of the slowest as well as the lightest in its class. However, its above average handling makes it easy to manoeuvre. The combined performance still makes it decent enough on off-road tracks but may struggle on road-based tracks.
