The 1996 Ford Indigo Concept is an unlockable vehicle in the Performance class, which can be unlocked in Ford Challenge mode. The car is a 2-door roadster built as a concept car that is well noted for its resemblance to a racecar. Many of the Indigo's styling cues have been taken from Indy car, such as its open wheels, lack of a roof, high mounted front wing, and scissor-styled doors.
In the game, the car has arguably one of the best handling in its class. However, it actually lacks in top speed and acceleration so it is not very fast when going straight. Additionally, the car will easily lose control when it lands from high jumps. Despite this, the car can shine by making use of its ability to overtake opponents through corners quickly and with ease.

Trivia[]
- The name "Indigo" sounds similar to "Indy-go", which is a reference to the IndyCar Racing Series that the car was inspired from.
- The engine that powers the Indigo would later be modified and used in some production trims of the Aston Martin DB7
- The ingame model has a windshield like the rolling chassis model, however, the running model Indigo had no windshield and was completely open to the elements.
