The 1995 Ford GT90 Concept is an unlockable vehicle in the Performance class, which can be unlocked in Ford Competition mode in the PC, PS2 and Xbox versions. In the DS and GBA versions, it can be unlocked in Ford Competition mode instead. The car is a 2-door, mid-engine sports cars that was built as a concept car, serving as the spiritual successor to the original Ford GT40. It also showcased Ford's brand new design language called Ford's New Edge design during that period, which would be later seen in other Ford production cars sometime between the late 1990s and early 2000s.
The GT90 is one of the fastest in its class as well as in the game since it has the highest top speed and acceleration, making it faster than the 2002 Ford Taurus Stock Car. Despite this, it has its flaws, with poor handling, a tendency to spin out, and a tendency to lose control when landing from high jumps. To prevent these from happening, one has to drive slowly and cautiously.
