The 1992 Ford Mustang Mach III Concept is an unlockable vehicle in the Performance class, which can be unlocked in Ford Challenge mode. The car is 2-door, open-top roadster built as a concept car that supposedly serves as a successor to the original Ford Mustang Mach I while bearing the "Mach" nameplate.
In the game, the car undoubtedly has a high top speed and quick acceleration, easily outrunning most of the other cars in its class. It is also a very competitive option to the Ford GT Concept as well as the 2002 Ford Taurus Stock Car in terms of performance. Still, it has a rather mediocre handling and tends to understeer at corners.
