The 1987 Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth is an unlockable vehicle in the Performance class, which can be unlocked in Ford Competition mode. The car is a 2-door liftback and the performance version of the regular Ford Sierra that was made and sold throughout Europe. Its most distinct feature is the rear spoiler that is popularly known as the "whale tail", much like the 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth.
The Sierra is well-balanced with great top speed and acceleration. Its only drawback is its tendency for the rear wheels to lose grip when driving over grass or the throttle being applied at low speeds during a long corner.

Trivia[]
- While named as an RS500 model, the Ford Sierra only has that model's dual rear spoiler. The front bumper and lack of badging on the front fenders and trunk lid identify it as a standard Sierra Cosworth model.
