The 1966 Ford Fairlane GT is an unlockable vehicle in the Classic class, which can be unlocked in Ford Challenge mode. The car is a 2-door sedan similar to the 1964 Ford Galaxie 500, based on the fifth generation Ford Fairlane. It is also the GT version of the regular Ford Fairlane. In the PC, PS2 and Xbox versions of the game, the car appears as a convertible with the roof folded down. However, in the GBA and DS versions of the game, the car appears as a hardtop instead.
In the game, the car has a good top speed but it lacks in both handling and acceleration in its class. The car also shares the same performance as the 1966 Ford Thunderbird.
